Steps:
- 1. Drain crushed pineapple, reservice juice. In a small bowl, combine onion, avocados, chipotle peppers, salt, cilantro and 2 tablespoons of the reserved pineapple juice.
- 2. Gently mix in mango and crushed pineapple. Serve immediately. Great with chips, fish, pork, or topping for tacos, etc.
Tips:
- Choose ripe mangoes: Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. Unripe mangoes will be sour and lack sweetness.
- Use fresh cilantro and lime juice: Fresh cilantro and lime juice add a bright, refreshing flavor to the guacamole. Don't use dried cilantro or bottled lime juice.
- Don't over-mash the avocado: The guacamole should be chunky, not smooth. Over-mashing the avocado will make it mushy.
- Add the chipotle pepper sparingly: Chipotle peppers are spicy, so add them sparingly to taste. You can always add more, but it's difficult to remove them once they're in.
- Serve the guacamole immediately: Guacamole is best served fresh. If you need to make it ahead of time, store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. However, the guacamole will brown slightly as it sits.
Conclusion:
Mango chipotle guacamole is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. It's perfect for parties or potlucks, and it can also be enjoyed as a healthy snack on its own. With its sweet and spicy flavor, mango chipotle guacamole is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
