2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
black pepper
1 (6 ounce) can tuna packed in oil, flaked, undrained
2 tablespoons pimiento, diced or 2 tablespoons roasted red peppers, sliced into strips
2 tablespoons green onions with tops, sliced
2 tablespoons black olives, sliced
2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped

16 oz spaghetti or linguine
2 can(s) tuna, canned
1 can(s) black olives, sliced
1 bunch green onions, cleaned and chopped. include green parts
4 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
4 oz swiss cheese, grated
1 bunch fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
1 c walnuts, chopped
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Boil linguine or spaghetti noodles per package directions.
  • 2. While water is heating, prepare all other ingredients.
  • 3. Drain noodles in a colander. Put other ingredients into the pot except for Parmesan cheese and parsley. Put hot, drained noodles on top and wait a few minutes.
  • 4. Carefully combine ingredients by stirring gently. You want the cheese and butter to melt into the noodles and the rest of the ingredients to be well combined.
  • 5. Turn into a serving dish and sprinkle with the Parmesan and parsley. Add more salt and pepper per your taste.

1 (16 ounce) box marco polo noodles, cooked, drained and rinsed with cold water (Marco polo noodles found in oriental section, similar to spaghetti in appearance, but they are white)
6 ounces fresh snow peas, julienned (save a few whole ones for garnish)
3 -4 green onions, chopped
6 ounces fresh bean sprouts
2 ounces carrots, julienned
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon mongolian fire oil (find in oriental food section)
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped fine

Steps:

  • Prepare noodles as package instructions and toss with other salad ingredients.
  • Mix dressing ingredients and pour over salad and toss till well mixed.
  • Let salad marinate in refer at least 2 hours.
  • Lightly toss the salad a couple of times to redistribute salad dressing during marination.

1 cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup shortening
1 egg
¼ cup milk
1 cup bran flakes cereal

  • 1. Place oil in hot fry pan - add chopped garlic & shallots. Add prawns - sauté till light pink and garlic and shallots are soft. Add wine and deglaze pan. Reduce and add butter. Let butter melt and add cream and curry powder - reduce. Add tomatoes and spinach leaves - toss. Add salt & pepper - taste for seasonings. Adjust. 2. Drop pasta in basket of hot water to warm, drain excess water and then place into cream mixture. Coat pasta till covered and silky. Divide with tongs into two pasta bowls - or into one platter to share. Top with prawns. Can sprinkle fresh grated parmesan cheese & fresh parsley flake or basil.
