MINT CINNAMON TEA

Mint Cinnamon Tea image

This is yet another of my lovely tea creations. This blend's flavor reminds me strongly of various mint-flavored chewing gums. It makes a rather pleasant tea hot, but I prefer it chilled. Note: I've listed things in teaspoons because this website won't let me list it in parts, but it's technically in a ratio, so you can make whatever quantity you want.

Time 15m

Yield 1-2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 teaspoon spearmint
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon coriander seed
1/8 teaspoon cardamom

Steps:

  • Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later.
  • Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose fresh ingredients: Using fresh mint and cinnamon will give your tea the best flavor. If you can, try to grow your own mint or buy it from a local farmer's market.
  • Use filtered or spring water: Tap water can contain impurities that can affect the taste of your tea. If you can, use filtered or spring water to make your tea.
  • Steep your tea for the right amount of time: The longer you steep your tea, the stronger the flavor will be. However, if you steep your tea for too long, it can become bitter. For mint cinnamon tea, a good starting point is to steep it for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add honey or sugar to taste: Mint cinnamon tea is naturally sweet, but you can add honey or sugar to taste if you like. If you're using honey, wait until the tea has cooled slightly before adding it, as heat can destroy the beneficial enzymes in honey.
  • Garnish your tea with a mint sprig or cinnamon stick: This will add a festive touch to your tea and make it even more enjoyable to drink.

Conclusion:

Mint cinnamon tea is a delicious and refreshing beverage that can be enjoyed hot or cold. It's a great way to relax and unwind at the end of a long day, or to enjoy as a refreshing pick-me-up in the morning. With its many health benefits, mint cinnamon tea is a great choice for anyone looking to improve their overall well-being. So next time you're looking for a healthy and delicious drink, try a cup of mint cinnamon tea. You won't be disappointed!
