Steps:
- 1. Set aside noodles. A can of chinese noodles is 5 oz, a bag is about 12 oz. Use one can or 1/2 bag
- 2. In a mixing bowl, microwave together the marshmallows, peanut butter, /14 C butter for 1 or 2 minutes increments on high heat. Stir together until almost smooth. I just repeatedly spray a spoon with oil in order to mix and drop the cookies
- 3. With a greased spoon, mix in the noodles with microwaved cookies. Then drop on wax paper with greased spoon. Edible immediately, but they harden into a fudgy, crunchy candy in about 20 minutes.
Tips:
- Choose the right noodles: Use thin, flat noodles like linguine, fettuccine, or angel hair pasta. These noodles will cook quickly and evenly, and they will hold the sugar coating well.
- Cook the noodles properly: Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Be sure not to overcook them, or they will become mushy.
- Make sure the noodles are dry: Before coating the noodles in sugar, make sure they are completely dry. This will help the sugar adhere to the noodles.
- Use a variety of toppings: You can use any type of topping you like on your noodle candy. Some popular options include sprinkles, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips.
- Be creative: Don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors and toppings. You can make noodle candy that is sweet, sour, salty, or spicy. The possibilities are endless!
Conclusion:
Noodle candy is a fun and easy treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a great way to use up leftover noodles, and it is also a great way to get creative in the kitchen. With a little bit of creativity, you can make noodle candy that is both delicious and beautiful.
