Tips:

  • Choose the right oats. Steel-cut oats are the best choice for oat flour waffles because they have a higher fiber content and a chewier texture. If you don't have steel-cut oats, you can use rolled oats, but they will produce a less chewy waffle.
  • Grind the oats into a fine flour. You can do this in a food processor or a blender. If you are using a food processor, be sure to pulse the oats until they are very fine.
  • Use a waffle maker with a deep grid. This will help to create crispy waffles with a fluffy interior.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the waffles tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking. This will allow the oats to absorb the liquid and produce a more flavorful waffle.
  • Cook the waffles according to the manufacturer's instructions. Be sure not to overcook the waffles, or they will become dry and tough.
  • Serve the waffles with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include butter, syrup, fruit, and whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Oat flour waffles are a delicious and healthy breakfast option. They are easy to make and can be customized with a variety of toppings.
