Tips:

  • Select the freshest salmon possible: Look for fillets that are firm and have a bright, vibrant color. Avoid any fish that has a slimy or fishy odor.
  • Pat the salmon dry before cooking: This will help to prevent the fish from sticking to the pan and will also result in a crispier skin.
  • Use a well-seasoned cast iron or stainless steel skillet: This will help to create a nice sear on the fish and will also prevent it from sticking.
  • Heat the skillet over medium-high heat before adding the salmon: This will help to create a nice sear on the fish.
  • Cook the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through: The fish is cooked through when it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the salmon immediately with your favorite sides: Some popular sides include roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Conclusion:

Pan-seared salmon with dill sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for any occasion. The salmon is cooked to perfection and the dill sauce adds a light and flavorful touch. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
