Yield 4 servings.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 bunch asparagus (about 3/4 pound), ends trimmed
3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves, preferably lemon thyme
1 ounce Parmesan, finely grated (1/4 cup)
Kosher salt, as needed
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Steam the asparagus until just tender, about 5 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients. The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Use fresh, flavorful Parmesan cheese, walnuts, and olive oil.
  • Toast the walnuts. Toasting the walnuts brings out their nutty flavor and makes them more crispy.
  • Use a microplane to grate the Parmesan cheese. This will create a fine, even grating that will distribute evenly throughout your dish.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken. If you overcrowd the pan, the chicken will not cook evenly and will become dry.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through. To check if the chicken is cooked through, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken. The internal temperature should read 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the chicken immediately. Parmesan chicken is best served immediately after it is cooked, while it is still hot and crispy.

Conclusion:

Parmesan chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its crispy Parmesan crust and tender, flavorful chicken, this dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give parmesan chicken a try. You won't be disappointed!
