3 1/2 to 4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour or Better for Bread™ flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages regular or quick active dry yeast
1 cup very warm milk, (120°F to 130°F )
1/3 cup stick margarine, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons stick margarine, softened
1/2 cup chopped pecans or raisins, if desired
1/4 cup granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Mix 2 cups of the flour, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, the salt and yeast in large bowl. Add warm milk, 1/3 cup margarine and the egg. Beat with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scaping bowl frequently. Beat on medium speed 1 minute, scaping bowl frequently. Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
  • Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead about 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl and turn greased side up. Cover and let rise in warm place about 1 hour 30 minutes or until double. Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.
  • Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Punch down dough. Flatten with hands or rolling pin into rectangle, 15x10 inches, on lightly floured surface. Spread with 2 tablespoons margarine. Mix pecans, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over margarine. Roll rectangle up tightly, beginning at 15-inch side. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal. Stretch and shape until even. Cut roll into fifteen 1-inch slices. Place slightly apart in pan. Cover and let rise in warm place about 30 minutes or until double.
  • Heat oven to 350°F.

3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose or bread flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages regular active or fast-acting dry yeast (4 1/2 teaspoons)
1 cup very warm milk (120°F to 130°F)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 cup pecan halves, if desired
1/2 cup chopped pecans or raisins, if desired
1/4 cup granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, softened

Steps:

  • In large bowl, mix 2 cups of the flour, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, the salt and yeast. Add warm milk, 1/4 cup butter and egg. 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1 teaspoon water
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 -2 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Steps:

  • Spray a 6 muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray and set aside; preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the melted butter, brown sugar and water and stir until smooth; evenly spoon the mixture in the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the sugar mixture.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls, lightly press seams to seal, spread lightly with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup orange marmalade
1 package regular active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water (105°F to 115°F)
3 to 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel

Steps:

  • Generously spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, pecans, corn syrup and 1/3 cup of the marmalade. Spread in bottom of baking dish.
  • In 1-cup measuring cup, mix yeast and warm water; let stand 5 minutes. In large bowl, stir 3 cups of the Bisquick mix, the granulated sugar and orange peel. Gradually stir in yeast mixture until soft dough forms.
  • On surface sprinkled with additional Bisquick mix, knead dough until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes, adding remaining 1/2 cup Bisquick mix as needed. Roll dough into 16x12-inch rectangle.
  • Spread remaining 2/3 cup marmalade on dough to within 1 inch of edges. Starting with short side, roll up tightly; pinch edges to seal. With sharp knife, cut dough into 12 slices. Place slices, cut sides down, on mixture in baking dish. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and cloth towel. Let rise in warm place (80°F to 85°F) 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Heat oven to 425°F. Uncover rolls. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately place heatproof serving plate upside down on baking dish; turn plate and dish over. Let stand about 1 minute so caramel can drizzle over rolls; remove baking dish. Serve rolls warm.
