Delicious, moist and flavorful. I prefer using homemade pesto, but store-bought will do if necessary. This is sure to become a family favorite! Serve with lemon wedges. This recipe was made in a Panasonic CIO.

Tips:

  • Choose boneless, skinless chicken breasts for leaner kabobs. You can also use chicken thighs if you prefer dark meat.
  • Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes for even cooking. If the pieces are too large, they will take longer to cook and may not cook evenly.
  • Marinate the chicken in the pesto sauce for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. This will help to infuse the chicken with flavor and keep it moist during cooking.
  • Preheat your grill or oven to the desired temperature before cooking the kabobs. If you are using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  • Cook the kabobs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the chicken, as it will become dry and tough.
  • Serve the kabobs hot off the grill or oven, with your favorite sides. Enjoy!

Conclusion:

Pesto chicken kabobs are a delicious and easy way to enjoy chicken. They are perfect for a summer cookout or a weeknight meal. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and healthy dish that the whole family will love. So next time you are looking for a new chicken recipe, give pesto chicken kabobs a try. You won't be disappointed!
