Yield 7 1/2 c. servings

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 1/2 cups water
2 orange pekoe tea bags, regular size
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick

Steps:

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add tea bags and cover; steep 10 minutes and discard tea bags.

  • Serve warm or chilled: Pineapple wassail can be served warm or chilled, depending on your preference. If serving warm, heat it gently over low heat until just warm to the touch. If serving chilled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Garnish for presentation: For a festive touch, garnish your wassail with a cinnamon stick, a slice of pineapple, or a sprig of rosemary.
