OVEN BAKED PORK CHOPS WITH POTATOES

Oven Baked Pork Chops With Potatoes image

I found this recipe by Nagi on a site called Recipetineats.com. "Made with ingredients you already have in your pantry.....slathered in a country style sauce then baked until sticky and golden. Also great with chicken". I used two pork chops and 4 Yukon gold potatoes. Kept the marinade amount the same. We were licking our plates.

Tips:

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked to the desired doneness.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, cook the pork chops over medium heat for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • To prevent the potatoes from sticking to the pan, make sure that the pan is hot before adding the potatoes.
  • If you don't have a baking dish that is large enough to hold the pork chops and potatoes, you can cook the potatoes in a separate pan.
  • To save time, you can use pre-cut potatoes.
  • To add a pop of color and flavor to the dish, you can add some chopped vegetables, such as carrots, celery, or onions, to the potatoes.
  • If you are using a slow cooker, cook the pork chops and potatoes on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.

Conclusion:
