My husband loves crispy coconut shrimp and po'boys, so I combined them with a spicy remoulade and voila! This air-fryer shrimp is a big hit with family and friends and is frequently requested. This I posted as requested. I myself love thai food. And my DH loves it more. You can use any squid, shell fish, beef or chicken. Slice the meat thin for quick cooking if using the meat or chicken. Make it as spicy as you like. This is a fast cooking recipe. Serve with Jasmine rice or noodles.

Tips:

  • To make your shrimp tender and juicy, marinate them in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  • To get a crispy coating on your shrimp, double-coat them in the cornstarch mixture. This will help to create a barrier between the shrimp and the oil, preventing them from becoming soggy.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the pan when frying the shrimp. This will cause the oil temperature to drop and the shrimp will not cook evenly.
  • Fry the shrimp in small batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve the shrimp immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Pow pow fried shrimp is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its crispy coating and tender, juicy shrimp, this dish is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
