Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Add the barbecue sauce.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill to medium high. Put the ribs on the grill and cook about 5 minutes on each side, until browned and slightly charred. Cut the ribs between the bones and toss them in a large bowl with the sauce. Serve hot.

RIBS MY WAY

Ribs My Way image

This is the way I always prepare my BBQ ribs. They result in fall off the bone tender ribs, and they are always a hit. The spices listed are what I submitted for this recipe, however I probably never use the same thing twice. Play around with those ingredients you enjoy the most. Prep time includes marinating time.

BEEF RIBS MY WAY

Beef Ribs My Way image

I wanted some beef ribs, but it was too cold to fire up the smoker/grill, so I threw this together. It takes several hours to cook, but it's well worth it! Start this the night before for best flavor. You could make this on a smoker/grill, too. {Follow mfg.'s directions) I would suggest using Oak Chips, if smoking them. Serve wiith my Recipe #311907

Tips:

  • For fall-off-the-bone ribs, cook them low and slow. The ideal cooking temperature is between 225°F and 250°F (107°C and 121°C).
  • Use a dry rub to season the ribs before cooking. This will help to create a flavorful crust.
  • Baste the ribs with a mixture of your favorite BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar during the last hour of cooking.
  • Let the ribs rest for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
  • Serve the ribs with your favorite sides, such as coleslaw, baked beans, or potato salad.

Conclusion:

Pork ribs are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you prefer baby back ribs, spare ribs, or country-style ribs, there is a recipe out there to suit your taste. With a little planning and effort, you can easily make fall-off-the-bone ribs at home that will impress your family and friends.
