Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon steaks: Look for steaks that are about 1 inch thick and have a deep pink color. Avoid steaks that are thin or have a grayish color.
  • Cook the salmon steaks over medium heat: This will help to prevent the fish from overcooking and becoming dry.
  • Use a non-stick skillet: This will help to prevent the salmon steaks from sticking to the pan.
  • Baste the salmon steaks with the wasabi mayonnaise: This will help to keep the fish moist and flavorful.
  • Serve the salmon steaks immediately: Salmon is best served when it is hot and flaky.

Conclusion:

These salmon steaks are a delicious and easy-to-make meal. The wasabi mayonnaise adds a unique and flavorful twist to the classic dish. Whether you are serving these salmon steaks for a special occasion or a weeknight dinner, they are sure to be a hit.
