1 ½ pounds salmon fillets
2 heads baby bok choy, halved lengthwise, or more to taste

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready. This will help the cooking process go smoothly.
  • Fresh Ingredients: Use the freshest ingredients possible for the best flavor. If you can, buy your salmon and bok choy from a local market or fishmonger.
  • Season Generously: Don't be afraid to season your salmon and bok choy generously. This will help bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients.
  • Cook Salmon to Medium: Salmon is best cooked to medium, or an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. This will help keep the salmon moist and flaky.
  • Don't Overcook the Bok Choy: Bok choy should be cooked until it is just tender, but still has a slight crunch to it. Overcooking will make the bok choy limp and mushy.
  • Serve Immediately: This dish is best served immediately after cooking. The salmon and bok choy will be at their best when they are hot and fresh.

Conclusion:

This sesame salmon and bok choy recipe is a healthy and delicious meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The salmon is cooked to perfection and the bok choy is tender and flavorful. The sesame sauce adds a delicious umami flavor to the dish. If you are looking for a new and exciting way to cook salmon, this recipe is definitely worth trying.
