1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (6 ounce) can chopped mushrooms, with liquid
½ cup milk
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no pink shows, about 5 minutes; drain fat.

4 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Dash cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup sour cream
4 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the mushrooms, flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder and cayenne. , Dissolve bouillon in boiling water; add to beef mixture. Bring to a boil.
