Tips:

  • Prep the ingredients beforehand: Dice the onion, mince the garlic, and cut the bell pepper into small pieces before starting the cooking process. This will save time and ensure that all the ingredients are evenly cooked.
  • Use a variety of beans: This recipe calls for kidney beans and black beans, but you can use any type of beans you like. Some other good options include pinto beans, navy beans, or great northern beans.
  • Don't overcook the chili: The chili is done when the beans are tender and the sauce has thickened. Overcooking can make the beans mushy and the sauce too thick.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Once the chili is cooked, serve it with your favorite toppings. Some popular options include shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onion, and cilantro.

Conclusion:

Slow-cooker barbecue chili with corn chips is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering. The chili is packed with flavor from the beef, beans, and spices, and the corn chips add a nice crunchy texture. This recipe is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it!
