Tips:

  • Choose high-quality beef for the best flavor. Chuck roast or top sirloin are good options.
  • Use a good quality Italian dressing. You can make your own or use a store-bought brand.
  • Don't overcrowd the slow cooker. Make sure there is enough space for the liquid to circulate around the beef.
  • Cook the beef on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, or until the beef is fall-apart tender.
  • Let the beef rest for 10-15 minutes before shredding it. This will help to keep the beef moist.
  • Serve the beef on toasted hoagie rolls with your favorite toppings, such as melted cheese, sauteed onions and peppers, or a zesty Italian dressing.

Slow cooker tangy Italian beef sandwiches are a delicious and easy meal that is perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
