MELON-BERRY SALAD
The best way to cool down on a warm day is with a chilled fruit salad. Serve this one for breakfast, brunch or dessert. Yogurt and coconut milk make the creamy dressing even more decadent. I was asked to take a salad to a backyard get-together and didn't want to just take the same old thing, so I came up with this recipe, which combines features of several different salads I've had in the past. Look for my recipes for balsamic vinaigrette and creamy orange soy dressings on this site. Both are excellent with this salad.

Tips:
- Choose ripe, flavorful strawberries and melon. This will ensure that your salad is packed with flavor. Look for strawberries that are bright red and plump, and melon that is slightly soft to the touch.
- Use a variety of melons. This will add different flavors and textures to your salad. Some good options include cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon.
- Add other fruits and vegetables to your salad. This will make it more colorful and nutritious. Some good options include blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, grapes, cucumber, and mint.
- Use a light dressing. A heavy dressing will overpower the flavors of the fruit. A simple vinaigrette or balsamic vinegar dressing is a good option.
- Serve your salad chilled. This will help to keep the fruit crisp and refreshing.
Conclusion:
Strawberry melon summer salad is a refreshing and flavorful salad that is perfect for a hot summer day. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a variety of fruits and vegetables to choose from, you can create a salad that is both healthy and delicious.
