Tips:

  • Use fresh sweet corn: Fresh sweet corn is the key to this recipe. Look for ears with bright green husks and plump kernels.
  • Cook the corn properly: Overcooked corn will be tough and chewy. Cook it just until it is tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Use high-quality Parmesan cheese: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese will give the dish the best flavor. Avoid using pre-shredded cheese, which can be dry and flavorless.
  • Add the cilantro at the end: Cilantro is a delicate herb that can easily be overpowered by other flavors. Add it at the end of cooking to preserve its fresh flavor.
  • Serve immediately: Sweet corn is best served immediately after it is cooked. It can be reheated, but it will lose some of its flavor and texture.

Conclusion:

This sweet corn with Parmesan and cilantro is a simple but delicious side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you like your corn sweet or savory, this recipe is sure to please.
