My in-laws who are in their 70s both said it was the best BBQ they had ever had. It was awesome!

Tips:

  • Choose a well-marbled chuck roast for the most tender and flavorful results.
  • Use a sharp knife to score the roast before cooking. This will help the marinade penetrate the meat and create a crispy crust.
  • Marinate the roast for at least 8 hours, or overnight. This will help to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Cook the roast on a wire rack set over a baking pan. This will allow the air to circulate around the roast and help it to cook evenly.
  • Baste the roast with the marinade every 30 minutes or so. This will help to keep it moist and prevent it from drying out.
  • Cook the roast until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.

Conclusion:

Sweet and tangy beef roast is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors is sure to please everyone at the table. This recipe is also very versatile. You can use any type of beef roast that you like, and you can adjust the amount of brown sugar and vinegar to suit your taste. Serve the roast with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
