Extra hot dish from southwestern China. This is best served with the rice rather then over it. The dried red peppers is what makes this dish red hot. Tips for Making Szechuan Chicken and Peanuts:

  • Use fresh ingredients. This will give your dish the best flavor.
  • Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes. This will help the chicken to absorb the flavors of the marinade.
  • Cook the chicken over medium-high heat. This will help to create a nice sear on the outside of the chicken.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. Szechuan chicken should be cooked until it is just cooked through. Overcooked chicken will be tough and dry.
  • Use a good quality Szechuan sauce. This is the key to getting the authentic flavor of Szechuan chicken.
  • Serve the chicken with rice or noodles. This will help to soak up the delicious sauce.

Conclusion:

Szechuan chicken and peanuts is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great dish to serve at parties or potlucks. If you are looking for a new and exciting way to enjoy chicken, then I highly recommend trying this recipe.
