Tips:

  • Choose skin-on salmon fillets for a crispy exterior and tender, moist flesh.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry before cooking to ensure even searing.
  • Use fresh tarragon for the best flavor; dried tarragon can also be used, but it will not be as aromatic.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan when searing the salmon; this will prevent even cooking.
  • Sear the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is cooked through.
  • Serve the salmon fillets immediately with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.

Conclusion:

Tarragon salmon steaks are a delicious and easy-to-prepare dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of crispy skin, tender flesh, and aromatic tarragon makes this dish a surefire hit. Whether you are a seasoned cook or a beginner, you will be able to make this dish with ease.
