SALISBURY STEAK - TEX MEX WAY
Another one from Southern Living. These are really good. I don't normally use the gravy envelopes, but it works good in this. Great served with mashed potatoes.

Tips:
- To achieve a flavorful and juicy Salisbury steak, choose high-quality ground beef with a fat content of at least 20%. This will ensure that the steak remains moist during cooking.
- Use a combination of bread crumbs and flour as the binder for the Salisbury steak mixture. The bread crumbs will help to absorb moisture and create a tender texture, while the flour will help to bind the ingredients together.
- Season the Salisbury steak mixture generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. This will enhance the flavor of the steak and make it more flavorful.
- Brown the Salisbury steaks in a skillet over medium heat before simmering them in the gravy. This will help to create a delicious crust on the outside of the steak and lock in the juices.
- Use a flavorful gravy to accompany the Salisbury steak. The gravy should be made with beef broth, tomatoes, onions, and Worcestershire sauce. This will create a rich and flavorful sauce that complements the steak perfectly.
Conclusion:
Tex-Mex Salisbury steak is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The Salisbury steaks are flavorful and juicy, and the gravy is rich and flavorful. Served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, this dish is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
