TUNA CHEESE SPREAD

Tuna Cheese Spread image

This is really delicious, especially if you are low-carbing it. It's a great alternative to "plain" tuna salad. Can be used as a dip for celery sticks, spread on celery stalks, or stuffed in cherry tomatoes. Prep time does not include chill time, since you can leave it in the fridge for longer than the one hour mentioned in the recipe.

Tips for Making Tuna Cheese Spread:

  • Use high-quality tuna. Look for tuna that is packed in water or olive oil, and avoid tuna that is packed in brine.
  • Flake the tuna well. This will help the spread to be smooth and creamy.
  • Use a good quality mayonnaise. A good mayonnaise will help to bind the ingredients together and give the spread a rich flavor.
  • Use a sharp cheddar cheese. A sharp cheddar cheese will give the spread a nice tangy flavor.
  • Add some diced celery and onion for crunch. These vegetables will add a nice flavor and texture to the spread.
  • Season the spread to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Chill the spread for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will help the flavors to meld together.

Conclusion:

Tuna cheese spread is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. It can be served as a sandwich spread, a dip for vegetables, or a topping for crackers. It is also a great addition to a lunch box or picnic basket. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can easily make a delicious tuna cheese spread that everyone will enjoy.
