24 ounces ricotta cheese
1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups 4% cottage cheese
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon butter, divided
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
3 cups half-and-half cream
1 cup whole milk
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crumbled cooked bacon, divided
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, place cottage cheese in a food processor; cover and process until smooth. When I first saw this recipe I could not believe how easy it was. Of course, I can't leave a recipe alone, and added a few changes to make it more "mine."

1/2 lb dried ziti pasta
1 lb ricotta cheese (part skim)
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3 cups spaghetti sauce
1 tablespoon fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and add the ziti. Cook until tender, about 8 minutes, then drain the pasta.
  • Place the ziti in a large bowl.
  • Mix with the ricotta and half of the mozzarella.

1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb ground beef
1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
1 (16 ounce) box ziti pasta, cooked
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:
