1 small onion, chopped
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 lb lean ground beef, cooked and drained
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Mix together the vegetables, onion, oatmeal, vinegar, ground beef, soup, salt and pepper.

So, to end the feud, I just call it Vegetable Hot dish. We really like it and kids are more willing to eat their veggies this way.

1 large bag mixed vegetables, frozen
1 jar(s) cheese whiz, small
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 jar(s) durkee fried onion rings

Steps:

  • 1. Boil vegetables as recommended on package, cooking till al dente. Drain. Spray casserole dish with Pam spray. Mix vegetables with cheese and soup. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on casserole, until hot and bubbly.
