WALKING TACOS

This has been a family favorite ever since our life got crazy chasing kids around. Quick and easy to make, kids love it, and there is no cleanup. The meat can be made up in advance, so when it's time to eat, just heat up the meat and you are ready to go. Easy enough to eat in the car on the way to soccer practice on a busy night!

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better your walking taco casserole will taste. Use fresh, flavorful ground beef, taco seasoning, and salsa. If you can, use homemade taco seasoning for the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the ground beef: Overcooked ground beef is tough and dry. Cook it just until it is browned all the way through, then drain off any excess grease.
  • Use a variety of toppings: The great thing about walking taco casserole is that you can customize it to your own liking. Add your favorite taco toppings, such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, or cheese.
  • Serve immediately: Walking taco casserole is best served immediately after it is made. The chips will get soggy if they sit for too long.

Conclusion:

Walking taco casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a party or potluck. It is a great way to use up leftover ground beef and taco ingredients. With its simple ingredients and customizable toppings, walking taco casserole is a dish that everyone will love.
