UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLL

This is a quick and easy main dish. My kids don't even like cabbage, but they love this. I usually try to serve it with green beans, new potatoes, corn, and a pan of corn bread. They eat over half the pan every time. Also, the longer it stands the better it tastes.

Tips:

  • Prep the Cabbage Leaves Properly: To easily separate the cabbage leaves, place the whole cabbage in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This will make them more pliable and less likely to tear.
  • Use a Variety of Vegetables: Feel free to customize the vegetable filling by adding or omitting vegetables based on your preferences. Some popular options include celery, carrots, mushrooms, and bell peppers.
  • Season the Filling Generously: Don't be afraid to season the filling liberally with salt, pepper, and other herbs and spices. This will add a lot of flavor to the dish.
  • Don't Overcook the Cabbage Rolls: The cabbage rolls should be cooked until the cabbage leaves are tender but still have a slight bite to them. Overcooking will make them mushy.
  • Serve with Your Favorite Sauce: Weight Watchers Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls pair well with a variety of sauces, such as tomato sauce, marinara sauce, or a simple yogurt sauce.

Weight Watchers Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls are a delicious and healthy meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking.
