1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons white sugar
⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Crumble and set aside.

1 cucumber, peeled and chopped, or more to taste
3 cups frozen peas, thawed
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
1 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons white vinegar
12 ounces cooked crumbled bacon

Steps:

  • Layer lettuce, cucumber, peas, Cheddar cheese, and egg, respectively, in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

This is my "go to" recipe when I'm hungry for this delicious 7 layer salad. I got the recipe from a friend of mine 15 years ago. You have to let it sit overnight to come together, so prepare the day before. Give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Cooking time is refrigeration over night.

1 head lettuce
1/2 medium sized onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup leseur early peas, drained
1 1/2 cups light mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sugar, divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup real imitation bacon bits

Steps:

  • Place in a clear glass dish in order given.
  • Break lettuce into small pieces and put in the bottom of the dish.
  • Top with chopped onion, chopped celery, chopped bell pepper, and LeSeur Peas.
  • Mix together 1 1/2 C mayonnaise with 2 TBLS sugar.
  • Spread Mayonaise mixture over the peas.
  • Sprinkle with 1 TBLS sugar.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits.
  • Cover and refrigerate over night.
