BONNIE'S HONEY ROASTED RED POTATOES image

These are good and the honey caramelizes to make a lovely presentation, what I call company worthy! They taste fabulous! Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pound red potatoes, uniform size and quartered
2 tablespoons diced onion
2 tablespoons butter melted
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon garlic salt or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat an 11X7 inch baking dish with Pam.
  • 2. Place potatoes in a single layer in prepared dish, and top with onion.In a small bowl, combine melted butter, honey, mustard, salt and pepper; drizzle over potatoes and onion.
  • 3. Bake in the preheated 375 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until tender, depending on your oven. Stir the potatoes several times to make sure they are coated and not dry. Also if the back of the dish is getting browner, turn the dish around in the oven to assure even browning.
  • 4. Garnish with chopped parsley at serving time. Enjoy!
