Champagne Fruit Puree image

Delicious puree of fruit which is lovely with Champagne or a sprakling wine. Great for when you are drinking at a party for brunch or lunch as you are not drinking as much alcohol. I suppose the types of fruit you could use are endless with this recipe. It is alittle hard to estimate prep/cooking time as the recipe will explain. ;-)

The champagne fruit puree was a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I'll try using a different type of fruit, or I'll add a bit of tartness with lemon juice or yogurt.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover fruit. I had a bunch of berries that were about to go bad, and this puree was the perfect way to use them up. It turned out so well that I'm planning to make it again soon, even when I don't have any left
