Growing up in Chicago, we often went to Superdawg to indulge in some Chicago hot dogs. Years later, they're still in business in the same location. 1 poppy-seed bun
1 all-beef natural casing wiener
yellow mustard
sweet relish (the brighter green the better)
chopped white onion
2 sport peppers
2 tomato slices
1 kosher dill pickle spear
celery salt

Steps:

  • 1. Cook hot dog in hot water or steam it. Steam the bun (if you can). Place dog in the bun.
  • 2. Distribute yellow mustard, onions, relish along length of the dog.
  • 3. Cut tomato slices in half and tuck them in along the dog. Lay sport peppers on dog.
  • 4. Sprinkle celery salt over all and lay the pickle on the top. Enjoy. Wipe your chin.
