Growing up my mom was famous for these. I loved them so much, I ate so many of them one year I got sick. They are the best when they are still warm and gooey!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 c sugar
4 tsp coca
1 stick butter
1/2 c milk
4 Tbsp peanut butter
2 1/2 c uncooked oatmeal

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together sugar, coca, butter and milk in a pot and let boil for 2 minutes. (The type of coca you use will change the flavor and color slightly. My personal favorite is Nestle Quick powder)
  • 2. Remove from heat and add 2 1/2 cups of uncooked Oatmeal and 4 tbs. of Peanut Butter.
  • 3. Stir together quickly.
  • 4. Drop on wax paper and cool. (Warning, high humidity may cause the cookies to not harden properly)
