Citrusy Fruit Dip image

This refreshing dip is the perfect complement to fresh summer fruit. Folks just can't seem to get enough of it...the bowl is always scraped clean! -Tiffany Anderson-Taylor, Gulfport, Florida

Yield 2 cups.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Assorted fresh fruit

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir in the orange juice, water, lemon juice and orange and lemon zest until blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with fruit.
