This recipe was a complete disaster. The cornbread didn't rise and the tamale filling was watery.

I had high hopes for this recipe, but it was a bit disappointing. The cornbread was dry and the tamale filling was bland.

This cornbread tamale casserole was a hit with my family! It was so easy to make and it turned out so delicious. The cornbread was moist and flavorful, and the tamale filling was cheesy and savory. I will definitely be making this again.
