Steps:
- 1. CRUST: roll out pie crust to line a 10 inch pie plate, if you don't have a 10 inch, use a 9 inch pie plate...However, if you use the 9 inch pie plate, be sure to put your pie onto a cookie sheet when you put it in the oven to catch any boil-overs...
- 2. FIRST FILLING LAYER: Beat cream cheese, egg and icing sugar/powdered sugar ... Beat...and then spread in bottom of the pie shell...
- 3. SECOND FILLING LAYER: Stir cornstarch into cranberry sauce in small bowl...Spoon over the first filling layer...
- 4. TOPPING: Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl...Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly...
- 5. Stir in pecans, (or walnuts)...Sprinkle over the second filling layer... Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for 45 - 55 minutes until set and lightly browned...(lay a piece of foil over pie if topping is getting too brown) This recipe makes 1 pie...hope you like it....
