CREAMY BRAUNSCHWEIGER DIP..(LIVER SAUSAGE) image

This recipe was served New Years Eve at a gathering. I thought it was delicious...and can be served anytime. The hostess gave me a copy of this recipe...via a JONES LIVER SAUSAGE ad. I made batch for my neighboRS. The pictures here are the result. Nancy...1/3/13

1 pkg 80z. jones liver sausage (braunschweiger) , cut into chunks
1 c sour cream
6 green onions (white portion only)..chopped
1/4 c fresh parsley...chopped
2-3 Tbsp prepared horse radish
3-5 drops hot pepper sauce
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
serve with...your choice...crackers, radishes, cucumber slices, carrot stisks, and ..or celery stalks.

Steps:

  • 1. Put all ingredients into a bowl, and mash till smooth.
  • 2. Cover and chill for a few hours or overright,
  • 3. Serve with crackrs or fresh cut veggies.
