Crunchy Asian Tossed Salad image

Love, love, love this salad. Make plenty because it will be gone!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 c vegetable oil
1/4 c sugar
2 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 large head iceburg lettuce, sliced
6 slice bacon, cooked, crumbled (i use more)
1/3 c sliced almonds, toasted
1/4 c sesame seeds
4 green onions, sliced
3/4 c chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • 1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Shake well. Chill at least an hour.
  • 2. Just before serving, combine the lettuce, bacon, almonds, sesame seeds and onions in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss.
  • 3. Top with chow mein noodles.
