- 1. Cut up store bought angel food cake or make one. Prepare pudding as directed on box. Add a bit of sugar to your strawberries. I kept them whole. In trifle bowl start with cake on the bottom and ending with strawberries. Add a big spoonful of cool whip on top and garnish with a whole strawberry.
