1/2 pkg refrigerated pie crust
1/4 c sliced green onions
1 Tbsp butter
6 large eggs
1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
1/4 c unsweetened apple juice
1 lb sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 c (8 oz.) shredded swiss cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry; trim and crimp edges. Set aside.
  • 2. In a small skillet, saute green onions in butter until tender.
  • 3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, cream and apple juice together. Stir in the cooked and crumbled bacon, salt, pepper and green onions. Pour into pastry; sprinkle with the cheese.
  • 4. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
