This old timer is a Food Section classic from the L.A. Times. It goes back to its' first printing in 1965. It's a moist and fudgy brownie in the shape of a pie.

This recipe is a keeper! So simple to make and the results are amazing. The brownie pie is rich, decadent, and oh-so-chocolatey. I can't wait to make it again.

Just made this brownie pie and it is delicious! The crust is flaky and the filling is gooey and chocolatey. I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and it was heaven. Will definitely be making this again.
