Steps:
- 1. Combine egg, salt water and flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out thinly on a floured surface. Cut into 1/4 inch strips. Drop strips into salted boiling water and cook, uncovered for 10 minutes.
- 2. Drain and rinse noodles with cold water.
- 3. Melt any combination of bacon drippings, butter and shortening to cover bottom of a skillet and fry noodles to desired brownness.
