I love this gingerbread house recipe! The cookies are so soft and chewy, and the royal icing is the perfect amount of sweetness.

This gingerbread house was a total disaster! The cookies were too crumbly and the royal icing was too runny. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.

I love the taste of this gingerbread house, but the cookies were a bit too soft for my liking. I think I'll try baking them for a few minutes longer next time.

This gingerbread house recipe is a bit too time-consuming for me. I think I'll just buy a pre-made gingerbread house kit next time.

I'm allergic to eggs, so I had to substitute applesauce in this recipe. It turned out great! My gingerbread house was just as delicious as the ones made with eggs.

My gingerbread house didn't turn out quite as pretty as the one in the picture, but it was still delicious. I think I might have overbaked the cookies a little bit.
