1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup quick oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugars, beating until fluffy.
  • Add egg and vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with pumpkin.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 17-20 minutes at 350 degrees or until done.
