- Add your onion to the mash potatoes. In bowl add mash potatoes, garlic salt. Spread into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish; add the diced ham.
- Fold cheese into whipped cream, spoon over ham.
- Bake uncovered at 400°F for 15 minutes or golden brown.
