I found this recipe to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less sugar in the syrup.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my torrejas were a disaster. The ladyfingers were too hard and the syrup was too thin.

I followed the recipe and my torrejas turned out great. The only thing I would change is to use a little less sugar in the syrup.

I followed the recipe exactly and my torrejas did not turn out as good as I had hoped. The syrup was too thick and the ladyfingers were too soggy.

These torrejas were a hit at my dinner party! The syrup was perfectly sweet and the ladyfingers were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
