Hot Sausage Soup (Aka Cindy

When I tell people about this soup they say, I don't know, it doesn't sound very good. But when they taste it they rave about it.. My husband would eat this all the time. Whenever he smells soup cooking he asks is that Cindy's soup. This soup came from a friend;s wife.. Not sure what magazine that this originally came from. This is comfort food at its best.

I'm not a big fan of sausage, but I really enjoyed this soup. The sausage flavor is subtle and it's not at all greasy.

This soup is a great way to use up leftover sausage. It's also a great soup to make ahead of time, as the flavors only get better the longer it sits.
