Italian Parmesan Bread image

Based off a recipe clipped out of a Wish-Bone Italian Dressing recipe pamphlet. The original recipe called for Wish-Bone Italian Dressing, Robusto Italian or Lite Italian.

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 Tbsp butter, softened
2 Tbsp italian dressing (your favorite)
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1 loaf italian or french bread (about 14-16" long)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  • 2. In a small bowl, mix first three ingredients well. Cut bread into 15 diagonal slices, almost completely the way through. Spread mixture on one side of the each slice.
  • 3. Wrap in heavy-duty aluminum foil, leaving a partial opening at the top. Bake 15 minutes or until heated through.
