I'm allergic to nuts, so I used sunflower seeds instead of walnuts in these cherry balls. They turned out great! I couldn't even tell that there were no walnuts in them.

These cherry balls are a great way to use up leftover cherries. I always have a bunch of cherries left over after making cherry pie, so I'm glad I found this recipe.

I had a hard time finding dried cherries, so I used fresh cherries instead. The cherry balls still turned out great! I just had to cook them for a little longer.

These cherry balls were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try making them again with less sugar next time.

I'm not a big fan of cherries, but I actually really liked these cherry balls. They're not too sweet and the cranberries help to balance out the flavor. I'd definitely make them again.
